IPS e.max® Veneers

A Keating Dental Lab, we offer both KDL™ Foil Veneers and IPS Emax® Veneers. Our platinum foil ceramic veneers are ideal for cases requiring minimal preparation (.2-.3mm). These polychromatic porcelain veneers are vital and have an excellent fit. Moreover, preparations can be kept entirely in enamel in many cases.

More About IPS e.max® Veneers

We hand-layer our IPS e.max veneers which are Keating’s most popular veneer. They are extremely aesthetic and versatile. For example, they are excellent at covering stained teeth or dark dentin while effectively raising the value of these teeth. We can also produce IPS e.max veneers to a thickness of .3mm or less! All of our IPS e.max products are pressed so that you receive the strongest restorations possible. This means that they are easier for the clinician to handle during the cementation process.

Dental veneers are a thin covering of tooth-colored material that can be used to improve the appearance of teeth. Veneers can be made from porcelain, composite resin, or a combination of the two materials. Veneers are usually used to cover the front surface of teeth that have been discolored or have large fillings. They can also close gaps between teeth or replace missing teeth. Beyond that, veneers can be used to improve the appearance and shape of teeth. It’s common to use them to close gaps between teeth, repair or cover large fillings, cover unsightly stains and make teeth look straight. Dental veneers are an effective way to improve your smile and boost your confidence. The procedure for getting dental veneers is called “veneering,” and a dentist does it in a dental office.

Veneers are thin pieces of porcelain, ceramic, or composite that are glued to the front of teeth. As said above, they can be used to improve the appearance of teeth or to cover up small imperfections in tooth structure. Composite veneers are made from composite resin and glass particles, while porcelain veneers are made from a mixture of tooth-colored ceramics and glass particles. Composite veneers can be used on all types of teeth, but they may not blend well with natural teeth coloration or chip over time. Porcelain veneers will blend better with natural tooth coloration, but they need to be done by an experienced dentist or dental technician because the process is more complicated. Veneers can be used to correct several cosmetic dental problems, such as gaps between teeth or discolored or chipped teeth. The “veneering” process starts with an impression being taken to create a mold for the veneer. The dentist will then use this mold and mix it with porcelain or composite material to create a tooth-shaped shell that will fit over your natural teeth.
